Page 12-The Michigan Daily - Friday, January 18, 1991 I rtsd Artspace combines the energy and expertise of the Michigan Guild of Artists and Artisans and the facilities of the Michigan Union to offer the University and the Ann Arbor community classes in the arts. Active professional artists and craftspeople teach the non-credit classes which are open to beginning, intermediate and advanced students. Design and basic skills are taught in an informal, casual atmosphere. Participants can expect to complete one or more finished projects in a section depending on the nature of the course. One thing that makes Artspace unique is the availability of our facilities, which allows our students the opportunity to use the space outside of the class hours. t I Winter 1991 .
