Lights and music-and lovely frocks. How successful they will make the
Panhellenic Ball! Shimmering gowns that ripple softly with every move-
ment of the wearers--soft lights that cast bewitching shadows over the scene
-glittering jewels and head hands-the whole gaining effectiveness against
the blac-and-white of the men's attire-make a picture not easily forgotten.
The Gowns must be festive-and becoming. For some there are the crisp
little taffeta frocks, pastel shades trimmed with black velvet in French-like
style, or cleverly adorned with silver or gold lace and flower ornaments. For
others are softly draped frocks of georgette gleaming with rhinestones, bead
ornaments or flower corsages. Most stunning of all are the velvet gowns of
clinging mode. Black, sparkling with glittering stones, or richly colored.
There are gowns at prices you wish to pay, varying from $29.75 for the
simplest taffeta and georgette models to $85.00 for the striking velvets. .
