The Screen
AT THE MAJESTIC
Vivian Martin in "Husbands and
Wives" will be at The Majestic for the
last time today. This production,
which was taken from the book, "Hap-
pily Married," by Cora Harris, deals
with the love affair of -an impetuous
girl and a strong-willed man of the
South.
The girl in marrying the man, John
Arms, commits herself to a life in a
deserted Southern town, and after]
dwelling in New York and Atlanta all
her life, she finds this rather tiresome.
A masked ball, at which she is car.
vied off by an 1%dian chief, brings
everything to a climax, and settles the
situation.

AT THE ARCADE
"His Pajama Girl," featuring Billie
Rhodes, will have its final showing at
The Arcade today. This is by W. Scott
,Darling, who has written several suc-
cessful stage productions. Miss
Rhodes, who appeared in Christie com-
edies, is seen in this feature as her
old self. Some of her co-workers of
comedy days are included in the cast
of "His Pajama Girl." Among these
are George French, Eddie Barry, and
Harry Rattenberg.
Tomorrow and Saturday May Alli-
son in "The Cheater" will be the at-
traction at The Arcade. This photo-
drama is an adaptation of "Judah," the
celebrated stage play by Henry Arthur
Jones. Miss Allison's role is that of
Lily Meany, who, under the name of
Vashti Dethic, has won atreputation
for effecting cures by faith.
She knows, she is a cheater, and
when she faces the prospect of trying
to cure the crippled sister of Judah,
Lord Asgarby, she experiences a
change of heart due to Judah's nobility
and the simple faith of his little sister.
