rifle cartriglge, the grenade is project-

IT IS rumored that he above named
personage is a lover of beautiful ties,
ribbons, and-you can guess the third.
Won't some co-ed with a superabund-
ance of girlish tokens bequeath him
something for it will make him happy.
Heard at the hop
"Say, don't one of you fellows want
a dance," yelled one of the buck pri-
vates to a group of friends as he spied
two girls dancing with each other.
"Well, if you do I'll break them up
for you, for I am the entertainment
committee."
FALL CLEANING in the German
army has been ordered. Three gener-
als have been disgraced because of
their failure to withhold the hords sent
over by the Allies in the Montdidier
sectors. Perhaps the kaiser's six sons
will have to fight in the front line
trenches after all.
