Educational institutions will be able to hold their organizations together, and the army will have the training for two years of potential of- ficer material. The plan also will be essentially democratic. Under the new law there will be no opportunity for the charges of slackerism that have been made against the college student. Not only What will be the result of these actions on the universities? It is hard to predict but it is safe to say that a new and strange University will greet present students if they return while the war is still in progress. The old will it eliminate that undesirable fac- tor but there is also a promise of one of the most democratic actions that the government has ever under- taken-the assigning of young men with high ochool education to high Special Values in Writing Papers and Correspondence Cards MarsFavorite Colle e Son TAKE THE Michigan Songs Hon Price of Book, $2.50 Sheet Music, 25c We have a complete stock of WAR SONGS Which should be in every home INCLUDING For.§4America and'Liberty There's a Lon Long Trail Keep the Home fires Burning God Be With Our Boys Tonight AND OTHERS ArM.
