MICHIGAN UNION TO BE OPEN
TO MEMBERS IN SEPTEMBEP
Plan to Open Employment, Rooming
and Information Bureau Week
Before School Opens
The Michigan Union will be open to
memhers every day during September,
according to an announcement by
Manager Homer L. Heath. Members
will be given the privilege of the read-
ing rooms as well as of the tennis
courts.
About a week before the opening of
the university, the employment bureau,
unde rthe chairmanship of Fred Mar-
ble, '15, will begin active work, in co-
operation with the similar bureau con-
ducted by the University Y, M. C. A.
An information and rooming list bu-
reau will be installed, as in past years,
in the large Union annex.
The dining room will open Septem-
ber 7, as a training table for the foot-
ball men who return for early prac-
tice.
Change Reading Room Hours for Sept.
Beginning with August 22 until Sep-
tember 21, the reading room in Alumni
Memorial hail will be closed every day
at 5:00 o'clock. During the school
year the regular hours are from 8:00
o'clock to 10:00 o'clock.
Student Marks Will Be Forwarded
Students desiring to secure their
marks in courses taktn during the
summer session should file a self-ad-
dressed envelope with the secretaries
of their respective departments.
Redecorate Corridors of Law Building
Walls of the corridors and the stair-
ways of the law building are being
re-decorated and painted. The work
will be finished in about ten days.
