THE WOLVERINE AETHREE TWELVE APPLY FOR AMBULANCE PLACES Allentown Divisions Still in Need of More Men; Should Notify Dr. L. P. Hall Twelve men have already applied for places made available in the three ambulance corps of Michigan men by the recent order of the war depart- ment, which' increased the war strength of the corps fromp 36 to 45 men each. There is fear that the war depart- ment will fill up the places in the ranks with outsiders or assign Michi- , gan men to- other divisions if the places are not filled soon. It is for this reason that Dr. L. P. Hall wishes all those who intend to join one of the divisions to phone to him as soon as possible. If the required number of men apply a medical officer will be sent here to give the physical exam- ination. It is not known whether the men will be sworn into service here in a body or go to Allentown and en- list there. Wolverine advertising pays.
