The weather having been so rainy,
'nd there being an odd number of men
in the singles, some having entered
ate, the schedule Is disarranged.
Ithleg, Rankin, and Sproat have come
through the first iround. The winner
of the Craig-Bolinisnatch also comes
through. Of these four, Sproat was
Irawn to play Wilkinson for the
foarth place in the second round.
Ehlers plays Rankin in the second
round, and the winner of the Craig-
Bolin match plays the winner of the
Sproat-Wilkinson match.
The doubles schedule is in better
hape. Stoddard and Bolin play Brown
and Collette, the winner being one
team in the semi-finals. Rankin and
Ehlers are the other team in the first
round. They will play the winner of
the McLeod and Wilkinson vs. Feible-
man and Grimes preliminary, for the
other place in the semi-finals.
The Wolverine has purchased three
cups, instead of two, as at first pro-
posed. Each man on the winning
doubles team will receive a cup, and
the winner of the single tournament
is entitled to the other. The cups
will be displayed in a State street win-
dow Saturday. It is probable that a
iierchandise prize-presumably a set
tennis balls-will be given to the
'snner up of singles.
