Carrol B. Haff, '13, Kansas City, Mo.,
was elected captain of the 1913 track
(team on the return of the cinder ar-
tists from the eastern intercollegiate
meet. Hle won his "M" for the second
time this year when he took second to
Reidpath of Syracuse in the quarter.
Last year lhe also placed in this event.
On the day that he was elected captain
he rceceived notice from the Olympic
committee that he had been placed on
the American team and would be with
Palph Craig.

by Right Reverend Charles Sumner
D~ureb, '75, to the class of 1912, in Uni-~
