We are glad that you were able to drop in on us again, partly because we like to see you, and partly because we feel that in you we will have read- ers more deeply appreciative of our editorial wisdom than the common run of undergraduates to whose welfare we are accustomed to devote our en- ergies. We hope that you will make your- selves at home on the campus and in the town. We trust that the week will be a profitable one, and that the mem- ories it awakens will be kept fresh until our one-hundredth anniversary, when we expect toi see you all again. You have an opportunity which you cannot afford to neglect. Our profes- sors have been totally unable to make the great majority of us see things in their right light. Those of our fel- low students who habitually frequent the library have been unable to inspire us to follow them. But you are re- spected men and women who have seen more of less of the world and, we feel sure,. profited by a wide expe- rience, and your example would be of great weight in helping us to stifle the. too human longings that come to us every year with the advent of spring in spite of our college education. We hope that you will make the most of your opportunity. '10 Lits to Dine Tonight.
