PROFESSOR BAILEY TO BEGIN
LECTURES OF SECOND WEEK.
Prof. B. F. Bailey of the Engineering
department will give the first lecture
of the second week of summer school.
His subject is "The Influence of the
e Development of Engineering on Mod-
ern Life." Prof. Bailey is a recognized
authority on technical points in elec-
trical engineering.
"Impressions from the Conventions
at Chicago and Baltimore" is the label
of an unscheduled joint lecture to be
given Friday afternoon at five. Prof.
J. S. Reeves who spent two days
watching the Republican fracas will
give his idea of the G. O. P. meeting
and Prof. J. H. Latane who was a
- delegate from Virginia to the Demo-
cratic convention will take up that
party's prolonged efforts. Each man
will be given twenty-five minutes to
talk.
