Season tickets for the Extra Con- cert series are priced at $9, $7.50, $6 and $5. Each year, the Choral Union and the Musical Society Orchestra present Handel's "Messiah" in their Christmas concert. The Choral Union is made up of over 300 voices, and auditions are open to the public. It was founded I at the inception of the Musical] Society, when it first began to 1 sponsor the concert series. Since then, it has rehearsed weekly, con- tinually increasing its repertoire. It will present the Messiah in con- junction with the Musical Society Orchestra, conducted by Lester McCoy, on Dec. 5 and 6. Season tickets, which will go on sale starting Nov. 2, are $4 and $3. The 67th Annual May Festival,: presenting the Philadelphia Or- chestra, conducted by Eugene Or- mandy, will present six concerts on May 5, 6, 7 and 8.
