ed chairman of a national corn-
mittee.
He will head the Industrial
Membership Committee of the
American Society for Engineering
Education (ASEE) and serve a
three-year term on the board of
directors for the relations with
industry division of the ASEE,

Pianist Nolan Huizenga, Grad.,
will present a student recital at
8:30 p.m. today in Rackham As-;
sembly Hall.
The performance, hieng given in
partial fulfillment of the require-
ments for the doctor's degree in
music, will feautre selections by
Haydn, Bach, Beethoven and
Chopin.

A small fire at 1900 Fair Street
yesterday destroyed a television
set, but no other damage was re-
ported.l
Firemen answered the alarm at
12:55 p.m. and found mostly
smoke.

daughter, Julia Anne, to Philip
Stowell Carroll of Troy, N.Y.
Miss Middleton, who received
her bachelors degree from the
University in 1957 is currently in
the School of Social Work.
Mr. Carroll received both a
Bachleor of Mechanical Engineer-
ing and a Master of Science de-
gree from Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute in Troy.
The couple will be married Aug.
30 in Grand Rapids.
