run off Milt Pappas. Following a
one-out single by Gary Geiger,
who had three hits, Nixon slam-
med his homer to give the Tribe
a quick 3-0 lead.
Bell posted his fifth victory in
nine decisions. Pappas was charged
.with his fourth loss against seven
triumphs.

feet and weighing 200 pounds.
