The victory was the Red Sox' 14th in the last 16 games. The Sox have a .515 percentage on a 34-32 record - a slim point behind Detroit's .516 and 32-30 record. DODGERS 7, CUBS 4 CHICAGO - A pair of bases- loaded singles by Pee Wee Reese and Gil Hodges for four runs in the seventh gave the Brooklyn Dodgers a 7-4 victory over the fumbling Chicago Cubs.
