Moore boxed two rounds at his Summit, N.J., camp and indi- cated he may box two more today, the day before his most impor- tant fight. Olson Appears Unconcerned Olson shadow boxed, laughing and joking as he turned up on the light bag at his Asbury Park, N.J., camp in his final workout. Te 15-round match at the Polo Grounds will be televis i nation- ally +ABC). There will be a net- work radio broadcast (ABC). Softball, golf, and swimming head the extensive list of activi- ties planned by the Intra-mural Sports department for the sum- mer session. Competitive play is being ar- ranged in both leagues and indi- vidual tournaments. Included in the leagues are softball, volley- ball and basketball. Individual tournaments are being organized for golf, handball, paddleball, and horseshoes. Students and faculty members interested in entering either the leagues or tournaments are urged to do so immediately. Deadlines for entry are: softball-Monday, June 27; basketball -- Thursday, Jufe 23; all tournaments-Satur- day, June 25. The golf tournament will be or- ganized into "flights" according to ability thus insuring more equal competition. Last summer's 34 entrants were arranged into four of these flights. A big swimming program has also been announced. The Sports Building pool will be open for general student swimming from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturdays. Faculty swimming will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Starting June 24 a co-recrea- tion will be held every Friday eve- ning fiom 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. At this time the facilities of the Sports Building will be open to both men and women students and to faculty members. Sports offered at this time include swim- ming, basketball, volleyball, hand- ball, paddleball, squash, codeball, badminton, and gymnastics. Eaddy Signs With Chicago Don Eaddy, Michigan's slugging third-baseman for the past four seasons, has signed a contract with the National League Chicago Cubs. He will be optioned to Des Moines in the Class A Western League. Eaddy, who has been tailed by big league scouts for the last'two seasons, led Michigan batters for the past spring with an average of .324.
