THE MICHIGAN DAILY Women's Sport Activities For Term Planned' Mixed Badminton And Tap Dancing Classes Will Be' Offered Plans for the Summer Session women's athletic program were an- nounced yesterday by Miss Virginia Peaseley of the department of phys-' ical education. The staff for the sum- mer will be composed of Miss Peaseley,, Miss Laurie Campbell and Miss Marie Hartwig. Mixed badminton and beginning tap dancing classes will be offered at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursdays at Barbour Gymnasium. These are open to women students and their guests. Several swimming classes will be given. Three beginning classes will be open to students of the Summer Session, one at 2 p.m. Mondays, Wed- nesdays and Fridays, one at 3 p.m., and one at 4 p.m. at Barbour Gym- nasium. The advanced class will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Union pool. Golf classes will be taught at 4 and 5 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at the Women's Athletic Building, and at 4 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays there will be an advanced golf class. The beginning tennis class will meetI at 5 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and the advanced class at the same time -Tuesdays and' T h u r s d a y s. Rhythms will be offered at 4 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at Barbour Gymnasium, and the archery class will meet at 4 p.m. Tuesdays. The Interlochen music camp opened its seventh annual season Sunday with a concert by the Cadillac high school band. Enrollment at the camp is larger than the last session, with 130 high schools of the state represented, Dr. Joseph E. Maddy, director, said yes- terday.
