YOUNG AVIATRIX REFUSES TO TELL DESTINATION OF PROPOSED FLIGHT t Y: ./.,*, .*. r'', (Special to The Daily)oite rssPoo Above are shown Miss Laura Ingalls, and her plane, with which she is planning "A long-distance flight". Preceded by reports that she planned a trans-Atlantic hop to Paris, she appeared recently at the offices of Floyd Bennett field in New York City to record her arrival from St. Louis. In the space opposite the word "destination" she made a wavering litle dash. In the space where she put the dash the words "Le Bourget, Paris," had been expected. She was asked about this and replied some- what sharply, "I did that in St. Louis and they made a big fuss about "But you are going to Paris, really, aren't you?" "I don't know," said Miss Ingalls, who has been considered the avowed rival of Miss Ruth Nichols, of Rye, N. Y., who was injured recently at St. Johns, N. B., on the first stage of an attempted trans-Atlantic flight, for the honor of being the first woman to fly non-stop from New York to Paris. Every Night and Sat. and Sun.
