XI WEDNESDAY, JULY 8, 1931 NUMBER 8 - Excursion No. 3-Niagara Falls and Vicinity: The Department of; Geology will conduct the Summer Session excursion to Niagara Falls as it has for many years. The trip is open to all students of the Summer Session and their friends. The party leaves at 10:43 p. in., Friday, July 10, via the Michigan Central Railroad. This year the excursion is being taken under very favorable circum-1 stances, the total cost being less than $25.00, which is the lowest for a number of years. This total includes expenses for all the important features at the Falls-as well as for railroad fare, hotel accommodations, and the like. Nearly two days will be spent in the Niagara area. Professor Thomas Wood Stevens, who is directing this week's production, "Don Juan," will speak on "The Changing Theatre." Physical Education for Women: Four weeks, non-credit classes in Golf, "Swimming, Tennis, and Tap Dancing will start this week and run .until July 31. TWO weeks classes in Tennis and Tap Dancing will begin Monday, July 13. Register for these at the desk in Barbour Gymnasium, 9 a. m. to 6 p. m. Rhythm Class for Children: A Rhythm class for children from four to eight years of age will be held in Barbour Gymnasium on Thurs- day afternoons at three o'clock. No fee will be charged for the class." University Women-Swimming Party: There will be a swimming party for all University women students interested on Friday, July 10. The group will meet at Barbour Gymnasium at 5:30. Swimming will be at one of the nearby lakes. All those interested should purchase a ticket at the office of Physical Education for Women. The fee will be fifty cents which includes bath-house facilities and supper. Trans- portation will be furnished. All those who wish to go should purchase their tickets before Thursday noon. Helen Swineford has been elect- ed president of Mosher hall for the Summer Session, acording to an announcement yesterday. Ruth Kelly will fill the office of vice-president, and Gladys Badger w a s chosen secretary-treasurer. Bernice Hopkins, Jeanette Top, and Dorothy Marsman were the defeat- ed candidates. Committees will be appointed to take charge of the various activi- ties of the hall in the near future.
