Dean E. H. Kraus will talk briefly on the advantages of summer study. Do not miss this opportunity to become acquainted with students and faculty people who are working in the field of Education.; Thomas Diamond Excursion No. 2: A visit to the Ford Industries at River Rouge will be made tomorrow afternoon, the party leaving at 1 p. m. and returning, to Ann Arbor at 5:45 p. m. The inspection tour will include the motor assembly plant, the final assembly line, the open hearth steel mill; and the rolling mill. Special buses take the party directly to the several places visited. Round trip tickets, $1.00, may be secured before this afternoon, 5 p. m., in the Summer Session office, room 9, University Hall. Carlton F. Wells Excursion No. 3-Niagara Fals and Vicinity: The Department of' Geology will conduct the Summer Session excursion to Niagara Falls as it has for many years. The trip is open to all students of the Summer Session and their friends. The party leaves at 10:43 p. m., Friday, July 10, returning to Ann Arbor at 11:45 p. m., Sunday, July 12. This year the excursion is being taken under very favorable circum- stances, the total cost being less than $25.00, which is the lowest for a number of years. This total includes expenses for all the important features at the Falls as well as for railroad fare, hotel accommodations, and the like. Nearly two days will be spent in the Niagara area. Further information concerning the itinerary and trip details is available at the Summer Session office, room 9, University Hall. Reserva- tions must be made in the Summer Session office before Thursday, July 9, 5 p. m. W. H. Hobbs Conference on Education: At the Conference to be held Wednesday, July 8, at 4 p. m., in the University High School Auditorium, Professor L. R. Keeler will discuss "The Problem of Educating the Crippled Child." All who are interested in Education are urged to attend. Pi Lambda Theta is having a picnic supper at Mrs. K. B. The play will be given Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday nights of this week at 8:15. There will be no performance on Friday evening, July 10, but there will be a special matinee performance on Friday afternoon at 3:15. For those who failed to get season tickets last week, the sale is being continued at a special reduced rate of $3.50 for the remaining six plays. Tickets may be secured at the Lydia Mendelssohn Theatre box office. Social Director of Summer Session Special Lectures on Safety Education: Dr. Herbert J. Stack, Super- visor of Child Safety Activities, National Bureau of Casualty and Surety Underwriters and Lecturer in Safety Education, Teachers College, Co- lumbia University, will speak on Safety Education today.
