Phi Delta Kappa: There will be a luncheon for the Phi Delta Kappa

Extra Excursion: Ford Plant at River Rouge, including motor as-
sembly, final assembly, open hearth, steel mill, and rolling mill, on
Thursday, August 14, 1:00 p.m. This excursion, a repitition of Excursion
No. 2, is arranged to provide for those who could not be accommodated
on the earlier visit to the Ford Plant. Reservations in Room 9, University
Hall before Wednesday, August 13, 6:00 p.m. Round trip $1.00. The num-
ber in the party 'will be limited.

Students, Colleges of Engineering and Architecture: All students in
these Colleges, taking courses other than Chemistry and Physics in the
College of.Literature, Science and the Arts, who have not called at the
Secretary's office, 263 West Engineering Building, to give the names of
their instructors in such courses must do so before 4 o'clock on Wednes-
day, August 13, in order to receive their grades promptly at the close

Detroit Civil Service Examinations for Positions in Social Work: On
August 12 there will be held an examination at the Detroit Civil Service
Commission in Detroit for positions in case work. Applications to take
that examination should be sent in at least one week previously. I should
be glad to talk with any students who might be interested. I can be

Hindustan Students: The Hindustan group of the University of
Michigan will hold a special meeting today at 2:30 p.m. in Lane Hall.

Pi Lambda Theta Supper: Members will meet for supper at the
Michigan League Cafeteria at 6:00 p.m., Monday, August 11th. A short

Candidates for Teacher's Certificates: Blanks for the payment of
the Teacher's Certificate fees may now be secured at the office of the
School of Education, 105 Tappan Hall. All students who expect to be
recommended for the Teacher's Certificate at the end of the Summer
Session must pay their fees and return their receipts to the Recorder,
School of Education, before the end of the Summer Session.
