LUNDQUIST WILL PLAYI Invitations have been isued by the social committee of the Wo- men's League, to chaperones for the second all-campus informal dance and bridge party which will be held Friday night, August 8, in the ball- room of the League building. Those who have accepted the in- vitation are: Dean Edward H. Kraus and Mrs. Kraus, Miss Lucy Elliott, Mr. Carlton F. Wells and Mrs. Wells, and Miss Frances Sei- del. Contrary to custom, there will be no receiving line for the affair which is scheduled to last from 9 to 12 o'clock. Plans have been mod- eled on those of the summer re- ception given earlier in the session and those in charge of the dance expect that the atendance will be as large as was had at the former affair. Music for dancing will be provid- ed by Kenneth Lundquist's Am- bassador orchestra, in the ballroom while tables for bridge will be found in the Grand Rapids room. Margaret Morin, '31, social chair- man of the League for the Sum- mer Session, has had charge of the arrangements for the dance and has been asisted by her committee consisting of Isabelle Rayen, '31, summer president of the League, Jessie Winchell, '31,_ and Virginia McMullen, '32. Inquiries concern- ing the affair, should be addressed to this committee.
