THEATERS CELEBRATE GREATER MOVIE1S WEEK William Boyd Is Star Of "Skyscraper" At Michigan; Beery And Hatton Film At Majestic FILM REVIVALS AT WUERTH As a tribute to the Greater Movie Season, which opened yesterday, the Butterfield theaters are this week presenting bills which they promise will give their patrons an opportunity of observing the best films that the industry offers. The Michigan is pre- senting William Boyd in "Skyscrap- er," the Majestic showing "Partners In Crime" with Wallace Beery and Raymond Hatton, while a revival of "The Loves Of Carmen" with Delores Del Rio and Victor McLaghen is being offered- at the Wuerth. "Skyscraper" is the story of two hardboiled steel workers and two dainty girls, much of the action being taken in the heights of a steel struc- ture. Alan Hale, Sue Carol and Al- berta Vaughan are in the supporting cast. The stage showing at the Michigan is the Parks Sisters and Harvey, "Disciples of Harmony." The Majestic's. contribution to the week, "Partners In Crime" is an up- roariously funny comedy featuring the two favorite laugh getters, Wal- lace Beery and Raymond Hatton, up to burglary this time. The Wuerth is presenting a series of revivals. "The Loves of Carmen" will be run today, Clara Bow, in "IT" tomorrow, and "The Last Laugh" with Emil Jannings Tuesday.
