Austin, Tex.-In order to give par- ents some idea of the probable cost of sending a boy or girl to the Uni- versity of Texas for the regular ses- sion, a schedule of expenses for the freshman year has been made by the student life staff. Two lists are pre- sented, one being considered low and the other high by the officials prepar- ing the schedules. According to the first list, the fol- lowing items are presented; board, $175; room and fuel, $80; laundry, $20; books, $25; fees, $40. According to the list designated as high, the fol- lowing items are presented: board, $270; room a'd fuel, $210; laundry, $40; books, $40; fees, $70. The first list totals $340 and the second, $630.
