Dublin, July 8-Trade reports cov- ering the commerce of the Irish Free State for the first quarter of 1924 were described as disappointing by Free State authorities, who pointed out that imports totaled 15,948,961 pounds in value, while exports were worth only 10,965,069 pounds. Above are some of the stars on whom Uncle Sam is depending to maintain his supremacy, established in previous games. Aileen Riggin, dainty diving champ, with the Star Spangled Banner, exemplifies the spirit of America at the games. MAUSH TO LECTURE ON CIVlL SERVICE REFORM Mr. H..W. Marsh, secretary of the National Civil Service Reform league, will lecture on July 21 at 8 o'clock in the evening in Natural Science au- ditorium on "The Progress and Op- portunities of Civil Service Reform." The date set marks the opening of the meeting of the League of Women Voters here, and the evening, which was previously unoccupied, will be used to bring before the women espe- cially, an additional problem of pres- ent day governments.
