The grand march which formed at nine o'- clock was led about the Waterman Gymnasium by Hugh Duffield, chair- man of the committee, and his partner 1is Charlotte Rodgers of Alton, Ill., a student in Goucher College, Balti- more, Md. Music for the occasion was furnished by Seymour Simons' and white. Around the walls of the gymnasium was arranged an alternat- ing scheme of black and white panels while black and white streamers stretched out from the walls to the ceiling. Beautiful painted lanterns gave a subdued light, while a huge "M" at one end of the gymnasium was lighted with colored lights.
