Seashore's tests for musical capacity yesterday afternoon in the Natural Sci- ence auditorium. The tests, aiming to show hereditary capacity in sense of pitch, intensity or sound, sense of time, consonance and tonal memory, were conducted by means of scientifically prepared phonograph records. No al- lowance was made for previous music- al training as this training is not supposed to increase the subject's cap- acity in these five traits. Scores of the students varied in different tests, some reaching an average grade of 98 and 99. y The tests, in charge of Robert An- gell, grad., and Dr. C. H. Griffiths, will be given again at 7:30 o'clock tonight. AT THE THEATERS Today-Sereen Arcade - Eugdne O'Brien in "Channing of the Northwest"; comedy.
