Hollister's class in play production is gradually working into form the two plays wich it will pre- sent on Aug. 10 and 11, tickets for which will be on sale at Wahr's book- store after tomorrow. Zangwill's "'ie Melting Pot," the first play to be presented by the class, gives plenty of opportunity for acting, and, with many of the parts being taken by experienced actors, will soon be ready for final presenta- tion. Sheridan's "The Rivals" is a, play of a quite different type, and never fails to be amusing from the first moment to the last. The cast for "The Rivals," also composed of members who have had. experience in acting and directing, is proving itself equal to the difficult parts required by the play, and, with a careful choice of costumes, which have already been or- dered, will. undoubtedly make a worthy offering.j The class in play production is or- ganized as a production unit, with each member serving on committees direction, or acting.
