Stanley Quartet members have
planned a rich and varied musical
program for the coming season.
Quartet members -'are Gilbert
Ross and Gustave Rosseels, vio-
lins, Oliver Edel, cello, and Robert
Courte, viola.
Four concerts have been planned
for presentation in the- Univer-
sity Rackham Building on Oct. 22,
Dec. 3, March 4, and April 1 at
8:30pm.
Additional concerts }will be pre-
sented at Rackham in Detroit Oct.
19, Nov. 30, Feb. 15, and March 29.
A special Detroit concert will be
given on Feb. 12.
Five concerts and clinics to be
given in the Upper Peninsula
have also been scheduled by the
Quartet. These will be presented
in Irontown, Houghton, Crystal
Falls, Newberry, and Sault Ste.

New _Study
Legal problems arising from the
formation of new economic or-
ganizations in western Europe will
be studied in a new seminar on
international organization at the'
Law School this fall.
The seminar will be conducted
by Prof. Eric Stein of the Law
School; who served as deputy di-
rector of the Office: of UN Nliti-
cal and Security Affairs, U.S..
State Department, prior to his ap-
pointment to the University staff.
"The American exporter, his in-
vestor and legal counsel will be-
come increasinrgly concerned with
the law problems arising from the
development of such organiza-
tions as the European Coal and
Steel Community, the 'European
Common Market, the proposed
Free Trade Area and ETRATOM,"
Prof. Stein said, explaining the
reasons for the new course.
The course will cover the rea-
sons for the development of these
organizations, the jurisdiction" of
their courts, and possible conflicts
between national law.of the mem-
ber cpuntries and. the European
Coal and Steel community law.
Samong many topics.
Outside experts will be invited
