station. Purchased during the 1920's, the spoke-wheeled truck' is ,no match. for the~ trim, modern engine. Children delighted in mount:
the engines and playing "fireman." Parents studied posters, displays and fire preventive information prepared by the department. Co
ing approximately $36,000, the new, piece of. equipment represents an investment that will last for some time to come. The old engi
still bearing: its original pain~t and trim, is destined for a museum: service or as a farmer's irrigation pump.
