RUSHING EXPERIENCES-In a skit given yesterday at Rackham Auditorium, Panhel counselors
demonstrated "typical" rushing experiences to over 1,100 prospective rushees. Marilyn Houck, '58Ph,
Panhel president, spoke about Panhellenic, its purposes and its meaning. Rushing registration will
be held from 9 p.m. to 5 p.m. today and tomorrow and from 9 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday on the
third floor of the League.

Petitioning for positions for As-
sembly Ball, sponsored annually
by independent women on cam-
pus, will be open until Monday.
Positions open are: general
chairman, programs and patrons,
tickets, decorations, publicity and
orchestra and finance.
This year the semi-formal
dance will be given March 29, on
the! second floor of the League.
Given to promote unity among in-
dependent women, the fund rais-
ing project honors all independent
women.,

Everyone on deck for a trip

Hop from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Tues-
day, Feb. 4.
"Ports of Call" will be, high-
lighted by scenes from many coun-
tries which will decorate the walls
and booths to be operated by the
fraternities and sororities.
"We chose 'Ports of Call' as the
theme because so many Univer-
sity students have either come
from foreign countries or have
visited these places," says Sally
Klinesteker, '59, chairman of
decorations.
A fashion show previewing ap-

propriate attire for the J-Hop
will be held Wed., Dec. 18 in the
League ballroom. Admission is
