Monday's lecture will be at 11 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. in Angell audi- torium C on "French' philosophy: Tradition or Revolution?" Morot- Sir will also speak to the French club on Tuesday, November 12, at 8 p.m. Morot-Sir has been aphilosophy professor ,at tjhe universities of Bordeaux and Lille, chiefly inter- ested in logic and the scientific method. Since 1956 he has been attachedl to the French embassy as cultural' counselor, representing French universities in the United States with offices at the Fench embassy in New York.1 f* * A former secretary of the Air Fofce, Tliomas K. Finletter, will be featurd speaker at a Demo- cratic Second Congressional Dis- trict Dinner. Finletter served as' Air Force Secretary from the spring of 1950 to the close of the Truman Administration in.1953. He is expected to voice strong opinions about the- current status of United States defenses, partic- ularly, in view of recent Russian' advances in rocketry and missiles, according to a Democratic party spokesman, Ainnounceinent Orders Taken for subscribers with more than one child. The doctor's fees are paid by the plan according to a fee schedule which the doctors estab- lished. May Choose Doctor Under the Windsor Plan, a pa- tient can choose his own doctor. About 92 per cent of the subscrib- ers have no one physician who they consider their family doctor. This according to the study, "tends to strengthen an important ele- fent in the doctor-patient 'rela- tionship." Most physicians said they felt the Service aided them in building and stabilizing their practice. The report claims "Windsor physicians were almost unanimous in saying- that the plan was doing "a very good job" in making medical care available to the public." Socialist Medicine Opposed According to the study, people enrolled in the service are opposed to the operation of comprehensive physicians service as a responsi- bility of the government. The study says the Service "has the clear effect of reducing pressure for government Intervention." The three year study was con- ducted under the direction of Na- than Sinai, director of the bureau of public health economics, Dr. S. J. Axerod, associate director of the bureau, and Benjamin Darsky, a research associate. The Health Information Foun- dation of New York City financed the study and published the report. George SZell Conducts Next unimon Series The Cleveland Orchestra, George Szell conducting, will be featured at the fourth concert of the Choral Union Series at 8:30 p.m. tomorrow In Hill Auditorium. The orchestra will play "Sym- phony No. 99 in E-fiat Major" by Haydn and "Symphony No, 9 in 1 Minor" by Bruckner Nikolai Sokoloff conducted the first concerts given by the. group in Gray's Armory, Cleveland. In 1931 the orchestra niade its per- manent home at Severance Hall. In 1946 Szell joined the orches- tra which was then enlarging its personnel. A further growth was in the establishment of the child- ren's concert . Each season 35 children's concerts are presented. Sunday afternoon "Twilight" concerts in Severance Hall and eight weeks of summer "Pops" concerts in the public auditorium are also given each year. "U ' TV Adds New Series , University television will start a new .'Gift of Life" series today, which will deal with the added twenty years of life that medical science, public health and modern technology have granted the American people.
