A GREAT BOOK STORE FAMOUS FOR BIG SALES NOW RUNS ITS BEST, MOST EXCITING, ULTIMATE-O-ULTIMATES, BIGGEST OF ALL TIME SELLING EVENT. This is a stock reduction SALE, a clear- ance SALE, an overstock SALE. By actual count over 3350 new books from regular stock are being sold. They are marked down 25% from publishers prices. As all these must be sold, there will be periodic markdowns thru the month of June. My advice, however, is not to gamble too heavily by waiting too long for further reductions.. . for SALE crowds are heavy and the incredible caliber of so many of these titles puts people in a buying mood. This is a get-money-before-the-summer- doldrums-SALE, a last-chance (my last chance) SALE, a spend-your-last-few- dollars-before-you-go-home-SALE. This is a SALE of publishers overstocks too. My ability to obtain unusual and significant titles in the remainder mar- ket, something in which Bob Marshall's has excelled always, is enhanced these days;... you've heard of the business slump ... and publishers are offering at a fraction of regular price a non-paral- leled selection of choice books. Seven big tables are loaded with carefully-selected bargains at 49c to $9.98. This is a get-the-bills-paid-SALE, get- money-to-buy-more-merchandise -SALE, a give-the - customer - some - real - buys- SALE. This is a used book SALE too. Just to keep things spiced up every used book in my entire stock is on SALE at 10% less than my marked price . . . and to be- gin with my used book prices are always modest. This is an "extra" SALE-just about all the sidelines are marked down too. 20% off on globes, bookplates, and boxed sta- tionery. Lots of prints on SALE too, plus some big and exciting bull fight posters.
