During the program, known as University Day, questions about the University which may occur to the visiting seniors will be an- swered. Questions about the cur- riculum of the various schools and colleges, and about other Univer- sity facilities are often asked. The program will start at 8:30 a.m. with an assembly at Hill Auditorium. Master of Ceremonies for -the program will be Union President Barry A. Shapiro, '59, and a welcoming speech will be given by Vice-President for Stu- dent Affairs James A. Lewis. A -description of the freshman year at the University will be given by Sidney Straight, one of the University's admissions counselors. Also included in the program will be the singing of Michigan songs by winners of the Inter-Fraternity Council Sing, Sigma Phi Epsilon. The rest of the morning will be used for a tour of the campus and a series of "mock lectures" by pro- fessors. This will be followed by a lunch at the residence halls. In the afternoon some scenes from this year's MUSKET will be presented and open houses in the various schools and colleges will be held.
