The award has been bestowed upon him by the American Society of Tool Engineers. Each year the Society 'selects ten recipients to encourage the profession of tool engineering. Hardy said, "The grant has made it possible for me to con- timue my education on the gradu- ate level."# Hie plans to finish one more se- Imester here at the University be- fore he fulfills his military obli- gations. Then he will return to complete his graduate studies. Hardy is married and has one child. He is a member of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity, Scab- bard and Blade, the Engineering Council and the Mens' Glee Club.
