Celestin John Steiner. president of the University on Tuesday. Father Steiner will speak before a Midwest Electronic gathering at 9 a.m. in the Statler Hotel Ball- room in Detroit. Instituted last fall, the program allowed freshmen students to en- roll in 15 hours of work using their television sets at home for lectures and demonstrations. Approximately 100 students vol- unteered for the program. Results, as far as they have been computed will be announced Tues- day, according to Father Steiner. Student groups will be compared with those taking the television courses as to grades and results. Courses were given in introduc- tory psychology, rhetoric and comppsition, elementary Spanish, development of Western civiliza- tion and theology-the Public Life of Christ. The trio, which consists of Nel- son Hauenstein, flute, Florian Mueller, oboe, and Marilyn Mason, harpsichord, will present chamber music of the early eighteenth cen- tury.
