d judging. In preparation, thousands of napkins have been stuffed in chicken wire forms, cos-
have been sown and hammers have pounded late into the night. The finished products weave
State St. between rows 'of-spectators to announce the beginning of the biannual Michigras.
PARADE DAY-The two-hour long Michigras parade this afternoon will be composed of 32 floats
by various houses. Among the additional 20 special attractions will be a baton twirling corps of 35
girls and 20 roller skaters, an old fire engine from Dexter, an Air Force Drill Team, the Phi Gamma
Delta marching band and a calliope.

PARADE ROUTE-The Michigras parade this afternoon will as-
semble at Detroit and Division streets and travel down Fifth to
N. Main. Coming down E. Liberty, it will pass down State to the
Union for judging. The parade will disperse at Packard and State.
