One set will be awarded to a man and one to a woman. In jad- dition, the man and the woman whose names are drawn second will each receive electric shavers. These prizes were donated by the Ann Arbor Merchants Association. 1rizes Include Leis' Leslie Benet, '59Ph., Prize Com-' mittee co-chairman, reports that committee members have pur- chased $700 worth of small prizes. Some of these prizes include grass hats, ukeleles, shot glasses, canes, leis, mechanical bears, flying saucers, golf tees, book cases, thermos bags, sling shots,. bal- loons,, monkeys and other small animals. The M i c h i b u c k system, by which students win these prizes works as follows: Theoretically, one Michibuck should equal five tickets. That. is, -for every five tickets taken in, one Michibuck should be given out.} Prizes for Mlehibucks When a, person' .hasw on 20, Michibucks, he mAY bring them to the prize booth and fill out a. card which will make him eligible' to win one of the hi-fi sets or an, electric shaver. In addition a prize worth 20 Michibucks will be awarded to him. Those who do not win 20 Michibucks, although not eligible for the drawing, can win smaller prizes. The first event of the Michigras weekend will be the parade at 3 p.m. Friday, April 25. Thirty-three floats, eight bands and several special attractions will, highlight the parade.. George R. Cavender, Assistant Director of University Bands said all band members should report to Harris Hall before Tuesday to register for the Michigras parade.
