One item, not often seen, is a goat-whisker, yes, a goat-whisker rug. Also on view in the antique dealers' exhibit are modern look- ing antique jewelry and early American furniture. For those interested in viewing purely decorative antiques, there will be special displays of glass- ware including American blown glass, Victorian era patterned glassware and rare pieces of cut glass. The exhibition will also include china from all parts of the world, unusual jewelry of all types, and the traditional "country store" items seen at all antique shows. The show will be open from 12 noon to 10:30 p.m. April 21-14 in the Detroit Masonic Temple. IU' To Present Seventh Social Work Institute The seventh annual Social Work Progress Institute will be held at the University tomorrow. Covering the fields of social work, mental health and educa- tion, the regional institute is sponsored by the University School of Social Work, its alumni and the University Extension Service. Dr. William J. Hendrickson, chief of the Adolescent Service of the University Neuropsychiatric Institute, will speak on the treat- ment Qf emotional problems in adolescents. Three other discussion groups will also be offered, concerning the regions of social work.
