Mary Tower, '59, of Kappa Kap- pa Gamma, is unopposed for the position of president. Miss Tower was a former president of Junior Panhel. Bary Beth Wyss, '59, of Sigma Kappa and Judy Harbeck, '59A&D, of Alpha Delta Pi are vying for office of first vice-president. Miss Wyss stresses the job of easing the work of the president. Miss Har- beck wishes to increase contact with Panhel organzations on other Big Ten campuses. Nominees for second vice-presi- dent are Phyllis E. Levine, '59, of Alpha Epsilon Phi, and Alice Lohr- man, '60, of Alpha Chi Omega. Miss Levine's activities include Spring Weekend and Homecom- ing. She wishes to reactivate sorority participation in Greek Week. Miss Lohrman, who has served as assistant to Miss Tower, would like to see a Panhellenic Ball and a Greek Week held in the fall. Joan Belle Konop, '60, of Alpha Omicron Pi, and Dianne Gilbert, '60, of Alpha Gamma Delta have been nominated for Panhel secre- tary. They both wish to encourage house participation in Panhel. For treasurer, Barbara Sutliff, '59, of Alpha Chi Omega and Fran- cina Roach, '60Ed, of Chi Omega are the nominees. Miss Sutliff wishes to see dues paid on a per capita basis. Miss Roach would like to transfer the financial office of Panhel to the Student Activities Building. Lois Curtis, '59Ed, of Alpha Xi Delta and Martha Thompson, '59, of Zeta Tau Alpha are nominees for Rushing Chairman. Miss Cur- tis wishes to improve the rushing calendar and to consult Panhel- lenic alums about a recommenda- tion file. Public relations and eval- uation and improvement of the rushing system are points on Miss Thompsons' platform. Sally Klinesteker, '59, of Delta Gamma and Mary Welland, '60, of Alpha Phi are vying for Chair- ,man of Rushing Counselors. Miss Klinesteker wishes to leave the rushee with respect for Panhel through the activities of the rush counselors. Miss Wellman wishes to better feelings toward the soror- ity system.
