Sponsored by the University Ex- tension Service and Fire Marshal Division, Michigan State Police, the seminar is scheduled for to- day, tomorrow, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with an additional talk to be given from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. According to F. A. Hartmen, su- pervisor of Firemen Training, some of the best speakers in the country will contribute to the seminar. By talks and lectures, illustrated with slides they will present the theory and practice of arson investigation. Fire Marshal Arnold Renner will begin the talks with a dis- cussion of the "History of Arson Investigation in Michigan." He will be followed by Lt. Glenn Walker, chief of Fire Prevention, Michigan State Police,' who will speak on "Cooperation of Police and Fire Authorities in Arson In- vestigations." The Chjef of the Detroit Arson Squad. Detective Glen Bennett will then speak on the "Motives of Arson," and E. A.
