University Apartment Bill Still Unpaid, Schaadt Says U OF M FOLKLORE SOCIETY IThe man who refused to pay his apartment bill to the University remains delinquent, Residence Hall Business Manager Leonard A. Schaadt said yesterday. W, W. Stephenson-tenant in 1852 Northwood Apartments-still has not paid his bill, according to Schaadt. The, University says Stephenson's family, especially his young children, were hard on the walls and the furnishings. Stephenson is being held re- sponsible for the cost of "restor- ing" the apartment. The Residence Hall office estimated this cost at approximately $285. Still Owed Rent In addition, Stephenson owed the University $63 for rent, mak- ing his total approximately $350. Since then, the Residence Halls Business office has decided to pay for the repainting of the apart- ment. It remains adamant, how- ever, on the other charges. Schaadt feels this s a"very reasonable" settlement. Settlement 'Reasonable' What Stephenson thinks of this settlement no one knows. He called Schaadt's office recently during Schaadt's lunch hour, and was told either to call Schaadt back ! later or to call Vice-President for Student Affairs James A. Lewis. He has done neither. announces FIRST .BEGINNING GUITAR WORKlSHOP Saturday, Mar. 1 Room 3-D Union Thursday and Friday at 2:00 d Read Dily Cassifed For your Better Things-shop Hutzel's i Personnel Requests: McDonnell & Co., New York, N.Y. are looking for young men with sales experience preferably, between the ages of 27 and 35 to become account exec- utive trainees., Rohm & Haas Company, Philadelphia, Pa. is looking for men for three posi- tions.
