Having no specific objects in i mind, the discussions and meetings will be keyed to the interests of the club members, possibly exploring such fields as fine printing, private presses, the history of printing, modern first editions, old maps and autograph letters. A prize may be offered at the end of each semester to the mem- ber collecting the most books dur- ing the year. Students interested in a club of this type may contact Howard H. Peckham, Director of Clements' Library or Frederick H. Wagman, Director of the University Library. Open to both students and fac- ulty members, the club has not yet set aside a definite meeting date. Mueller of Hen- derson, Michigan recently an- nounced the engagement of their daughter Norma Jean Mueller to Hans J. Kardal, son of Mrs. Hans -E. Kardal and the late Mr. Kardal of Charlotte, Michigan. Miss Mueller is a sophomore in the literary college and is a mem- ber of Alpha Xi Delta. Mr. Kardal is a graduate of the School of Business Adminis- tration. He will complete his Mas- ter's Degree in the School of Busi- ness Administration in August. I By ANNE O'NEAL "A Whale of a Tale," the 1957 Michifish show, is to be presented at 8 p.m. 5riday and Saturday, April 26 and 27, and 3 p tn. Sun- day, April 28 n the Womren's Pool Depicting a "bop version of Grimm's Fairy Tales," each of the numbers will portray a story from the collection, with "Little Red and the Riding Hoods," as an example. Two members of the varsity swim team, Ted Reissing, backstroker, and John Murphy, diver, are featured in this number with members of Michifish. Student Written The script was written by two students in the journa'i:1r depart- ment, Chris Libby and Gail Por- ges. Costumes were designed by Car- ol Cook and Sylvia Mayers to cor- respond with the fairy tale scene and were made by the women themselves. Perfect Form Michifish members are required to have almost perfect form in the BURO-CATS - There will be a treasure hunt for all buro-cat members at 4 p.m. today in the League. LEAGUE COUNCIL - There will be a meeting of the League Council today at 7:00 p.m. in the Kalamazoo Room of the League. crawl, back crawl, breast stroke and side stroke. They must be able to perform the back dolphin, kip, surface dive in pike position and alternate ballet legs. Judy Shagrin heads the com- mittee in charge, of music; Sandy Lambert, tickets; Sue LaBlanc, programs and Nancy Caulkins, publicity. Michifish will appear with Michifins, the preparatory group for Michifish, for the first time in this production. The hour and a half show will feature 15 num- bers, in one of which 24 Michifins and 52 Michifish will participate. Michifins will participate in an act of their own and in the finale. I , Tennis Club .. The organizational meeting of the tennis club for beginners, in- termediates, and advanced play- ers will be held today at 5:10 p.m. at the Union. At the organizational meeting, the meeting time of the all cam- pus women's tournament will be decided. The tournament, spon- sored by the tennis club, will take place Friday and Saturday, May 3 and 4. Fishing Club . . The spring organizational meet- ing of the outdoor education club will be held at 5:10 p.m. today at the W.A.B. This unit of study will be on fly and bait casting and any other fishing points the group would like to discuss.
