Former officers greeted the incoming ones with speeches, responsibilities and best wishes. Installation Night, held last eve- ning at the League, was the scene of great excitement as speeches were given and new officers, schol- arships and awards were an- nounced. League Officers ... Heading the League next year! will be Marylen Segel, president; Jeanette Cameron, vice president, and Barbara Maier,.second vice- president. Other officers will be Jo Anne Marsh, secretary and Nancy O'Toole, treasurer. WAA Positions .. . Charlotte Haller announced the WAA positions as follows: Sally Eckwald, life saving corps; Helen Koefoed, basketball and Judy Kessler and Jim Purcell, rifle. Other committees will be headed by Jane Prindeville, Michifish; Sylvia Haisley, ice skating and El- lan Orenstein, golf. Helena Palmer will take charge of field hockey; Sheila Burke will be -chairman of fencing and Anna Mapes will be chairman of bowl- ing. Ballet will be under the direc- tion of Sandy Bader and Bill. Crummett; public relations will be directed by Peg Davis, and Ann O'Neal will serve as The Daily re- porter. Other positions announced in- clude Jan Barber, dormitory chairman; Mariel Bennett, soror- ity manager and Dorothy Mallett, A.F.C.W. representative. Serving as treasurer will be Carolyn Ros- enbaum; as secretary, Norma Clarke and as co-recreational manager, Shirley Miekka. LuAnne Austin will be president of the organization. Jo Manning, vice president, will handle student relations and Jane Abeshouse, vice president ,will take care of special projects. Panhellenic Assn.-. New Panhel officers will be Marilyn Houck, president; Dianne Duncan and Mary Tower, first and second vice presidents respective- ly and Mimi Ryan, secretary. Other positions are Charlotte Bopp, treasurer; Elizabeth Ware, rushing chairman with Cynthia Cross as her assistant; and Vera Ptak, counselors chairman.
