"The Unity of the Free World"
A well known British author, lecturer and authority on world affairs, Barbara Ward is
one of the most influential of contemporary writers on economics and political subjects.
FEB. 25-DR. RALPH BUNCHE
"What is Happening in the Middle East"
Under-secretary of the United Nations and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 1950 for
his work as mediator in the Arab-Israeli dispute over Palestine, Dr. Bunche is accepted
internationally as one of the outstanding authorities on the world situation today.

MORROW ON TROMBONE-Bandleader Buddy Morrow plays
danceable music for J-Hop couples. Morrow, who achieved popu-
larity through recording success, entertained at last year's dance,

dancing difficult, students could find much elbow room in the corners of the gymnasium where
subtle lighting heightened the impressionistic effect of the murals. Decorations for J-Hop were
done under the direction of Patricia Skelly,

EVERYBODY CAME-Present at the traditional University func-
tion were publicity hounds who came to advertise Spring Week-
end and others who had obviously come to listen to music only.
