The production, directed by Prof. George Bird of the Eastern Michigan speech department, will be held beginning at 8 p.m. Thurs- day, Friday and Saturday even- ings in Roosevelt Auditorium in Ypsilanti. Tickets are 75 cents and are on sale at the door. BOWLING, SKI CLINIC, SWIMMING: Sport Facilities Open to Coeds During Exams By MARY BETH GODFROY As the pressure of final exams increases and students crowd the libraries to crack those books, the need for some relaxation becomes apparent, According to Dr. Margaret Bell, Chairman of the Program for the Women's Physical Education De- partment, "Any physical outlet is conducive to refreshing the mind." Utilizing this idea, the Women's Physical Education Department is1 offering a wide range of activities to the coeds on campus during the examination period. Those who are interested in bowling may use the facilities at the Women's Athletic Building from 3 to 5 p.m., Monday, Jan. 21, through Friday, Jan. 25. For people who don't mind the cold, there is ice skating from 9 to 10 p.m. every evening and from 3 to 5 p.m. Sundays at the Coli- seum. { A Ski Clinic for women students wishing to learn the elementary skills of skiing will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18 at the Women's Athletic Building. Skis will be furnished to stu- dents who have boots. Those who do not have the necessary foot- gear may come and observe the instruction and obtain advice con- cerning the purchase of equipment. Students interested are asked to call the desk at the Women's Athletic Building by noon Thurs- day, Jan. 17, indicating their in- terest so that sufficient instruc- tion can be provided. Barbour Gymnasium will also be open for use from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21 through Tuesday, Jan. 29 (except Saturday and Sun- day). Badminton and basketball equipment will be available while on Monday and Wednesday stu- dents will also be able to use the trampoline. The Women's swimming pool will be open during the examina- tion period through Sunday, Jan. 27. Hours are: 4 to 6 p.m., Mon- day through Friday; 7:15 to 9:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with Wednesday, co-rec night; 7:15 to 9:15 p.m. Saturday, also a co-recreational night and 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, co-recreational. Faculty night and Michigan night will be held at the usual times. Spring Weekend Students who have not signed up to work on Spring Weekend, to be held Friday and Saturday, May 10 and 11, may do so at registration.
