In the past several years Gener- ation tended to become a literary magazine; but co-editors Eric Lindbloom and Marge Piercy have said the staff hopes to bring back Generation as an inter-arts maga- zine this year. Encouraging Writers Presently, the editors are en- deavoring to encourage more stu- dents to contribute to Genera- tion. "There is enough material written on campus to maintain a superior standard of quality, while still publishing a good sized maga- zine;v Lindbloom noted. This incorporation of art, dance, drama, literature and music is now being used in some English I, English 32 and creative writing classes, as an example of creative ability. Many Become Professional Many writers, who have works published in Generation, reach the field of professional writing.
