Five student publications serve the University of Mi
gan campus.
The Michigan Daily appears six mornings: a week , TI
day through Sunday," with news of campus, local, natic
and international events. Its editorial page comments critic
on-these .events and is written bay staff members.
The Michiganensian, called, for linguistic conveniei
the "Ensian,"happens every sprin g with. some 500'page
pictures and comments on campus life and'the institutions
direct it.
Gargoyle is a humor magazine, which' it wsometimes;
to great lengths to disprove. Sometimes it irs hilariously fu
and other times just funny.
Generation, a literary magazine, is the only campus j
lication in which student-written fiction, poetry and es'
appear.
The Student Directory is published once a year,.
nately in the .fall; for it contains invaluable informatioli
how to reach every student either by mail or by phones
