The most excited of the group, a sturdy fellow, held an unlighted cigarette wondering if he dared. Angell Hall lobby contained three chattering girls, carefully dissecting their favorite profes- sor's ideosyncrasies. In a local coffee shop, a couple attempted to carry out a study date -- but their interests were not very strongly attached to the opened books beside piles of cups and saucers. Six people went to the movies for the last evening performance at one theater. No one ventured near the other. Two couples were strolling around, dashing into store en- trances to .gaze at window displays and leave the biting winds for a few moments In the book store one fellow continued selecting and rejecting pocket books and a man was ab- sorbed in low-priced "bargain" art prints. Later -- three cars drove down State St., two from the east, the other from the west. The light turned red 'and they were forced to stop. This Christmas.
