Children will be attracted to the Hussey Room where members of the Union and League committees, will have a toyland.1 t " I airplane contest men's residences. between the .i Originality .Dolls from the women's houses will be judged on the basis of origi- nal workmanship and over-allaap- pearance. The model airplanes submitted by the men's groups will be judged on the basis of original design. Dolls should be between 10 and 20 inches high and airplanes should not have motors. Entry blanks for the contests are due Friday in the Undergradu- ate Offices of the League. The blanks are to be placed in the box of the special projects chairman, Gwynne Finkleman. The entries themselves are to be in the Undergraduate Offices by 2 p.m. Saturday. After the Christmas party, the Junior Red Cross will collect the dolls and airplanes and distribute them to needy children in the community. . *K f > Movies, including cartoons and children's fairy tales will b feat- ured in the Ann Arbor Room, while the Kalamazoo room will have a Santa Claus. This year jolly old St. Nicholas will be played by Marshall Badt, the president of Taylor Hbuse. Gift Suggestions The Vandenburg Room will at- tract the attention of the adults attending the gala holiday party with displays centering around the theme, "What I Want For Christ- mas." Local merchants are do- nating articles for the gift sug- gestion displays. Dancing to the music of Paul Brodie and his orchestra will hold forth in the League Ballroom, while the Michigan Room will at- tract the attention of all ages because of the punch and cookies. Caroling and other musical en- tertainment for the yuletide event will be featured by the Psurfs, winners of last year's Gulantics.
